Rev. Joy Burton has been a practitioner of nature-centered spirituality and an interfaith humanist minister for over 20 years. She is a clergy member, founder and Executive Director of Living Earth, a nature-centered church in Denver. She is currently working towards certification as a Gottman Institute Seven Principles Leader (expected 11/2017).

In addition to being a marriage coach, minister, and officiant of weddings and other important life ceremonies, Joy is a licensed educator in the State of Colorado. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Earth and Planetary Sciences and a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Ceramics from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and a Master's Degree in Education from Walden University. She is passionate about being a community organizer, scientist, teacher, baker, mother, nature lover, world traveler, and artist. 

Joy is married to Heath Burton. They have been married since 2002 and have three beautiful children together. 


She is also the founder and executive director of the internationally-known spiritual retreat called Beltania.
